When you are creating services, real estate marketing information, blog content, and really anything regarding your real estate business, it’s imperative that you understand exactly who your ideal clients are. These are truly the only people who matter when you create any type of product, service, video, sales copy or informational piece.

To ensure that you are successful, try these following tips to boost your real estate marketing strategy by marketing to who matters.

Develop Audience Personas

Create several audience personas based on your target audience and where they are in their buying cycle and in your real estate marketing funnel. You’ll want to know their name, demographics, what keeps them up at night, and what their intent is depending on where they are in their buying cycle.  

Understand What You’re Really Selling 

You’re never selling what you think you are. It’s not a tool. It’s not a book. It’s not even a widget. Instead, you’re selling the promise of a solution. You’re selling the ability to sleep at night. You’re selling time freedom. You’re selling a solution that will help your ideal audience. Your real estate marketing strategy should reflect all of that!

Look into Your Google Analytics 

This is one of those “You’re leaving money on the table!” Data is king and if you already have your real estate business established, you are in luck because if you’ve installed Google Analytics (hopefully). By doing this you can find out more about the people who are engaging the most with your content, purchasing your products, using your services, and visiting your website. 

Get Interactive with Your Real Estate Marketing Strategy

Don’t get afraid about the idea of being more interactive and engaging with your audience. You can use chatbots, AI, and other technology to give the illusion of two-way human-like engagement and interaction. Believe it or not, customers like using these self-help solutions.

Listen to Your Audience via Social Media

Set up Google alerts so that if your brand name or your personal name (depending on how you do business) is mentioned, you’ll get notifications so that you can view it. You can learn a lot about your audience this way. Ask your friends/following real estate questions and answer them on social media platforms! Your real estate marketing strategy should include social media awareness and earned media.

Track What Your Competition Is Doing

You can also find out more about your target audience by following, researching, and interacting with your competitors. Watch how the audience reacts because you can glean a lot of information from what they are doing before you spend money implementing something new.

Create Problem-Solving Content 

This is one of my favorite! When you create content, focus on your target audience and how you can help them solve their problems. You can teach them about their problems, why they matter, and how to solve them with the content you share. When you do this, they’ll feel like you get them. And the content will resonate with them, causing them to move through their buying cycle faster. 

Speak in the Voice Your Audience Bests Responds To 

Learning all you can about your audience and developing the personas can help you amplify your brand voice in the way that your audience best responds, because they understand the message more.
By narrowing down the information you share with your audience such that the only person who would want the information is your ideal client, you reduce wasted time trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Instead, focus on putting your products and services in front of the people who already want them. Your list will explode and so will your sales and your lead.
