Everyday more money is being spent by big companies to get your attention. This can include all sorts of media channels not just social media. Think about the billboards you see driving down the road, those nice big LED lights, think about the TV commercials you see, what about the data you share?
This is a very corporate style marketing tactic but if we look at the numbers, this tactic works. As a independent agent it’s going to be hard to out bid these multi-million dollars companies spending thousands of dollars a day for attention. So the questions is, what do you do? How to you take a piece of the market and turn it into a hardcore, loyal and faithful fan base of yours?
The answer, be the people’s agent.
It’s okay to not know what you’re doing or not know how to do it, we’ve all been there at some point. When I first started my real estate career I felt confused, nervous and frustrated. I didn’t know what I was doing or how I was going to be successful, but I did know that one way or another I had to make it work. I had to push through all the imaginary boundaries I constructed in my head and I had to break them down if I wanted to succeed.
So, what did I do? After many hours of researched, and countless interviews with top producing agents, I figured out one simple trick to the real estate game. People buy from people. Believe it or not, 80% of how to successfully market your business is how you present yourself, what you say, how you say it, and how true you are to your real estate fan base. This can be things such as; how you start your conversations with prospects to how you dress yourself. This also applies to the quality pictures your listings have and how you construct a great description. It all has to do with your brand and what you can provide. Real estate marketing at it’s essence, is one things. How can you get a person to see everything you can do for them, as an agent, in 30 seconds or less? If you can successfully do this, you are ready to dominate your farm area and create a long lasting real estate fan base.

Now, I wish this was a simple one sentence answer but frankly it isn’t. There is so much more to this question than meets the eye. In order to become the people’s agent, you have to know what people you are channeling and how to formulate a message that will reach that specific group of people. It’s imperative that right off the bat you know who your target audience is. Spend some time figuring out how you can achieve this, know who you like to work with, what interest you, and what you see potential in. Next, study where this target audience “hangs out”. In real estate marketing it’s important to know every fine detail of your audience because when it comes to creating an “ideal client” this will save you time and money.
The techniques that I mastered at an early age is what caused me to be so successful in my first year and create an authentic real estate fan base. I promised myself that once I perfected this skill I would teach other agents how I did it and help them be successful as well. For that reason, I created The Real Estate Marketing Masters, an online community where I teach and guide other agents how to be successful in marketing their business online. A career in real estate can open doors and opportunities for many people. It can help you achieve your dreams and live the life you’ve always wanted.

Founder & CEO
The Real Estate Marketing Masters
I began real estate at the age of 18, like many agents, this was not my first career choice. At 18, the world was still very new to me and the real estate industry even more so. I realized that in order to be successful in this industry you must surround yourself with the right people. I was blessed to have great mentors but I found a common problem among myself and my peers. The lack to lead generation skills. It is for that reason that I have decided to build this community and share my knowledge with the world.
